The Possible Luddite Backlash and Why?

15 January, 2015

Greetings and welcome to The Countdown to see what’s new on the menu.

Today we continue research on this proposed recipe by certain ‘chiefs’…er…we mean ‘chefs’…heh.

As we research more on possibilities and implications set forth by prophecies in the Bible, as well as other main cultural teachings, a very large ‘table’ is set and prepared for a feast.

What kind of a ‘feast’ it is, we believe, will depend on those ‘eating it’ as much as those ‘cooking it up’…here take a look at this article:

Welcome to the Matrix: Enslaved by Technology and the Internet of Things

“There will come a time when it isn’t ‘They’re spying on me through my phone’ anymore. Eventually, it will be ‘My phone is spying on me.’” ― Philip K. Dick

If ever Americans sell their birthright, it will be for the promise of expediency and comfort delivered by way of blazingly fast Internet, cell phone signals that never drop a call, thermostats that keep us at the perfect temperature without our having to raise a finger, and entertainment that can be simultaneously streamed to our TVs, tablets and cell phones.

Likewise, if ever we find ourselves in bondage, we will have only ourselves to blame for having forged the chains through our own lassitude, laziness and abject reliance on internet-connected gadgets and gizmos that render us wholly irrelevant.

Indeed, while most of us are consumed with our selfies and trying to keep up with what our so-called friends are posting on Facebook, the megacorporation Google has been busily partnering with the National Security Agency (NSA), the Pentagon, and other governmental agencies to develop a new “human” species, so to speak.

In other words, Google—a neural network that approximates a global brain—is fusing with the human mind in a phenomenon that is called “singularity,” and they’ve hired transhumanist scientist Ray Kurzweil to do just that. Google will know the answer to your question before you have asked it, Kurzweil said. “It will have read every email you will ever have written, every document, every idle thought you’ve ever tapped into a search-engine box. It will know you better than your intimate partner does. Better, perhaps, than even yourself.”

But here’s the catch: the NSA and all other government agencies will also know you better than yourself. As William Binney, one of the highest-level whistleblowers to ever emerge from the NSA said, “The ultimate goal of the NSA is total population control.”

Science fiction, thus, has become fact.

We’re fast approaching Philip K. Dick’s vision of the future as depicted in the film Minority Report. There, police agencies apprehend criminals before they can commit a crime, driverless cars populate the highways, and a person’s biometrics are constantly scanned and used to track their movements, target them for advertising, and keep them under perpetual surveillance.

Cue the dawning of the Age of the Internet of Things, in which internet-connected “things” will monitor your home, your health and your habits in order to keep your pantry stocked, your utilities regulated and your life under control and relatively worry-free.

The key word here, however, is control[MORE ARTICLE FOUND HERE]

So here’s our op ed…

Now we’re just thinking, and so far, that isn’t a crime…yet…but a lot of original science-fiction writers were part of the ‘enlightened movement’ or spiritualism movement of the day.

This involved seances and other occult and mystical practices and interests of the day. Talking to ‘dead spirits’ and the like isn’t new and isn’t a good idea either! They are what the Bible describes as familiar spirits…even if they claim they are from other realms or galaxies.

Understand that these people didn’t have technology such as television to ‘distract them’ from their tedious day-to-day activities, but there were probably as much of these ‘enlightened’ minds writing propaganda for the ever-growing Big Brother than there were ‘Godly-fearing people’ (righteously speaking) trying to ‘save the world’ doing their best using legislation to serve and not understand the truer, more sinister plans – research prohibition, and the later ‘drug wars’…

They create a ‘shock-and-awe’ effect (notice they even play off the shekinah glory of God) on the intended targets (usually the reader of the ‘propaganda’) allowing a (spiritual) ‘portal’ to possibly be opened for the entrance of an unseen being (or their influence) to inflict or infect said ‘target’. This would simulate an ‘enlightening’ experience of many different sorts and also is used methodically speaking in other occult ‘rites of passage’ for the initiates.

People who claim to contact the spirit world provoke extreme reactions. For some, mediums offer comfort and mystery in a dull world. For others they are fraudsters or unwitting fakes, exploiting the vulnerable and bereaved. But to a small group of psychologists, the rituals of the seance and the medium are opening up insights into the mind, shedding light on the power of suggestion and even questioning the nature of free will.

Humanity has been attempting to commune with the dead since ancient times. As far back as Leviticus, the Old Testament God actively forbade people to seek out mediums. Interest peaked in the 19th century, a time when religion and rationality were clashing like never before. In an era of unprecedented scientific discovery, some churchgoers began to seek evidence for their beliefs.

Salvation came from two American sisters, 11-year-old Kate and 14-year-old Margaret Fox. On 31 March 1848, the girls announced they were going to contact the spirit world. To the astonishment of their parents they got a reply. That night, the Fox sisters chatted to a ghost haunting their New York State home, using a code of one tap for yes, two gaps for no. Word spread and soon the girls were demonstrating their skills to 400 locals in the town hall.

Within months a new religion had emerged – spiritualism – a mixture of liberal, nonconformist values and fireside chats with dead people. Spiritualism attracted some of the great thinkers of the day – including biologist Alfred Russel Wallace and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who spent his latter years promoting spiritualism in between knocking out Sherlock Holmes stories. Even the admission of the Fox sisters in 1888 that they had faked it all failed to crush the movement. Today spiritualism thrives in more than 350 churches in Britain.[MORE ARTICLE FOUND HERE]

Pop-culture (and all the UFO movies over the years…in fact most movies) is really about spreading the beliefs (or imaginations) of the designers, writers and producers. Many in the entertainment industry can attest to unprecedented ties to the occult and secret societies lurking behind the scenes.

OUR point is this…why spend those millions of dollars on entertainment for entertainment’s sake? Just to make money? Or, make money, while promoting beliefs?

Amazingly, MOST if not ALL of this has some tie to some ‘ancient’ practices from somewhere! Kinda’ funny how there really isn’t anything new under the sun.

Kinda’ went down a rabbit trail there, but interesting that it still leads to the same table. And, is also the reason to start to unplug from the online thing more and more, stop watching so much T.V., stop wasting time with entertainment and work at something better and fulfilling. Read your Bible more, pray more, seek understanding and wisdom from only truth.

Move back to the farm, get it running and productive and self-supporting. Stop answering every text message as soon as the phone beeps. Don’t be rude but be productive. Technology and, more importantly, the C.E.O.’s of those companies behind it, are about making money, and subsequently, POWER, and thereby, CONTROL.

This demonstrates that they are tyrannical, fanatical, self-absorbed dictators. It’s possible to have money and do good only…better to have a good name than it being a curse-word! Soros and like-ilk, take note….

God, is righteous, loving and gave us free will to choose Him or not. We’re not forced or coerced or rounded up into prison camps. We’re even given a lifespan to choose Him or not.

EVERYTHING about this world’s system, in it’s current state, is about control, subjection, and slavery to someone else of one kind or another.

Pay this fine, fee, permit, bill, debt, etc.

All revolves on resource management and who manages the resources…

Jesus said, however,

Mark 8:36(KJV)

36 For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul?

and also,

No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and MAMMON. Matthew 6:24

Mammon, or the love of money personified as a demonic entity (or ‘alien’) seems to exist, at least the way Jesus describes the word in His Word. 🙂 But see how it all connects?

So, if the most loving and humble person on the whole planet once said that a soul needs salvation, or that they could lose it, perhaps we should listen to Him?

It really doesn’t matter if He existed or not – agnostics out there – the idea is there anyway, which He created!

So with that, be friendly, be courteous, always forgiving, walking in love, and…
