So What’s New With You?

18 August, 2013

Greetings and welcome to The Countdown!

Yes, it has been awhile since our last posting, and we apologize that life has gotten to us the past few months, but no matter, let’s get back on track, shall we?

What’s new on the menu? Obamacare, gun control and our rights are at stake, otherwise known as a class on “Communism/Lenin/Marxism 101″…

Well, if  ya have a moment, ya first may wanna’ take a look at this ‘little gem’:

“So much of the Affordable Care Act is being implemented through the tax code,” says Kathy Pickering, the executive director of the Tax Institute at H&R Block. And for many taxpayers, “their tax situation will factor into health care decisions as well,” she says.

The penalty, which was upheld as a tax by the U.S. Supreme Court in June, will vary per family based on their size and income. The fee starts at $95 per person next year, or 1% of household income above the minimum threshold for filing a tax return — whichever is greater.

And the penalty is scheduled to increase each year to $695 per person in 2016, or 2.5% of income. (After that, the penalty will be adjusted each year for inflation.)

For a single person with $50,000 in taxable earnings, the charge would start at $400 next year, estimates H&R Block. And for a family of four with two children and a household income of $100,000, forgoing insurance would add another $800 to their tax bill — a sum that would be deducted from any refunds.

Uh, wow…can the government actually tell people that they HAVE TO buy health care? Isn’t food your FIRST LINE of defense? Don’t those people work for us? I think they they have this backwards…

Total health and wellness STARTS with proper farming and proper foods – much of which has been lost in today’s ‘microwave’ society. Most modern farming practices have been engineered to make maximum profits at the expense of the land, crops, and animals…with the consumer’s health trailing behind.

After all, why make an insurance based health care MANDATORY, unless there is some serious health issues with foods (and medical practices) to begin with. There are things that Monsanto has been doing (and other companies) for DECADES to citizens all around the world through food.

And now nanoparticles found in Dunkin’ Doughnuts, M&M’s, Pop-Tarts, and Trident gum?

So ya’ may say, “Ya crazy kook, prove it!”

Well try these nanoparticle recipes out:

Slipping Through the Cracks is designed to inform companies, investors, and consumers about the emerging use of engineered nanomaterials in food and food related products. It highlights the potential risks of nanotechnology for companies who are knowingly or unknowingly using it in their products and for public health.

As You Sow and other leading investors surveyed 25,000 food manufacturers and tested a range of popular donuts; the results of both inquiries proved that nanomaterials are currently being used in food products.

Or how about this one:

Last April, the Food and Drug Administration issued an unusually emphatic statement on nanomaterials, saying it did not have enough data to determine the safety of nanomaterials in food.

The Environmental Protection Agency is evaluating various nanoparticles used in consumer products, like sunscreens.

As You Sow tested 10 varieties of powdered doughnuts for the presence of nanoparticles. With the help of an independent lab, it found that Hostess Donettes and Dunkin’ Donuts Powdered Cake Donuts tested positive for the presence of titanium dioxide materials of less than 10 nanometers. Titanium dioxide is used to brighten white substances. The nano variety is under investigation by the E.P.A.

Michelle King, a spokeswoman for Dunkin’ Donuts, said the company was working with its supplier to validate As You Sow’s findings. Hostess Brands went out of business during the test and closed its factories.

Jesus had it right when he states here in Matthew 6 (and the WHOLE chapter has to do with the monetary worldly system – keeping it real and in context):

Take heed that ye do not your alms before men, to be seen of them: otherwise ye have no reward of your Father which is in heaven.

Therefore when thou doest thine alms, do not sound a trumpet before thee, as the hypocrites do in the synagogues and in the streets, that they may have glory of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But when thou doest alms, let not thy left hand know what thy right hand doeth:

That thine alms may be in secret: and thy Father which seeth in secret himself shall reward thee openly.

And when thou prayest, thou shalt not be as the hypocrites are: for they love to pray standing in the synagogues and in the corners of the streets, that they may be seen of men. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

But thou, when thou prayest, enter into thy closet, and when thou hast shut thy door, pray to thy Father which is in secret; and thy Father which seeth in secret shall reward thee openly.

But when ye pray, use not vain repetitions, as the heathen do: for they think that they shall be heard for their much speaking.

Be not ye therefore like unto them: for your Father knoweth what things ye have need of, before ye ask him.

After this manner therefore pray ye: Our Father which art in heaven, Hallowed be thy name.

10 Thy kingdom come, Thy will be done in earth, as it is in heaven.

11 Give us this day our daily bread.

12 And forgive us our debts, as we forgive our debtors.

13 And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil: For thine is the kingdom, and the power, and the glory, for ever. Amen.

14 For if ye forgive men their trespasses, your heavenly Father will also forgive you:

15 But if ye forgive not men their trespasses, neither will your Father forgive your trespasses.

16 Moreover when ye fast, be not, as the hypocrites, of a sad countenance: for they disfigure their faces, that they may appear unto men to fast. Verily I say unto you, They have their reward.

17 But thou, when thou fastest, anoint thine head, and wash thy face;

18 That thou appear not unto men to fast, but unto thy Father which is in secret: and thy Father, which seeth in secret, shall reward thee openly.

19 Lay not up for yourselves treasures upon earth, where moth and rust doth corrupt, and where thieves break through and steal:

20 But lay up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust doth corrupt, and where thieves do not break through nor steal:

21 For where your treasure is, there will your heart be also.

22 The light of the body is the eye: if therefore thine eye be single, thy whole body shall be full of light.

23 But if thine eye be evil, thy whole body shall be full of darkness. If therefore the light that is in thee be darkness, how great is that darkness!

24 No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.

25 Therefore I say unto you, Take no thought for your life, what ye shall eat, or what ye shall drink; nor yet for your body, what ye shall put on. Is not the life more than meat, and the body than raiment?

26 Behold the fowls of the air: for they sow not, neither do they reap, nor gather into barns; yet your heavenly Father feedeth them. Are ye not much better than they?

27 Which of you by taking thought can add one cubit unto his stature?

28 And why take ye thought for raiment? Consider the lilies of the field, how they grow; they toil not, neither do they spin:

29 And yet I say unto you, That even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of these.

30 Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?

31 Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed?

32 (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things.

33 But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.

34 Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

How about instead of eating thousands of empty calories sitting in front of the I.D.10T box/game system, why not cut that time in half by making good food ahead of time?

Eat fresh, then vacuum seal leftovers, freeze, can, dehydrate or whatever so that the next meal will be ‘microwave ready’ – just like the mega-companies do…except you know more or less how it was prepared and what went into it.

Use YOUR time more wisely and you start your own very inexpensive health insurance. A lot less then the system offers anyway. What a concept!  Secondly aren’t most M.D.’s usually there to mainly patch up holes or some sort of physical problem? One doesn’t go to a general practitioner for nutritional needs, or a chiropractor for a wound. No one would visit a pathologist for mental illness…or would they?

‘Obamacare’ will see to it that people will either be, as Mark Levin puts it, “…either healthy but broke, or dead but leaving your kids something.”

Forgive my paraphrase but if your food contains the right nutrients, no pesticides or genetic modification (which is different than cross pollination/hybridizatin of two similar things), and grown with care for the consumer (since they fund the farm anyway) then even immunity deficient people would have more of a fighting chance and cancer patients might not have to take drugs that end up killing them anyway.

Take a look at the numbers, THE so-called proof…more people were killed last by malpractice and doctor related situations than were killed by gun violence!! Actually more people were killed by hammers and knives than guns! Maybe we should regulate them too…??

And while were at this juncture, how about a short semantics lesson?

The media have been calling guns (mostly the AR-15), “assault weapons”, but so is a chopstick, my finger, or a hammer… if I stick it in your eye!

All guns are weapons, but not all “weapons” are guns.

Get it straight WASHINGTON! Stop the word spin, I want to heave!

However, if they can play word-spin, than so can we. Law enforcement and military have RENAMED their guns to P.D.W.’s – Personal Defense Weapons, so that’s what we have too!

We can play this word game and win legally. It’s like renaming a cattle ranch a beef factory. It’s all about being politically correct, but we see this isn’t working too well, if at all. And history shows us that the FIRST step Lenin/Marxist/Facist/Nazi/Communists take is to have regitration of guns – so they know where they all are; then vilify guns, then take them so resistance is futile, while they rape your family and drop ya’ off in a ditch…

History has dibs on this, doncha know?

Finally we have this little video to help explain the sneaky food additive that has been encroaching on every platform of processed foods.

As attached to this country as we are, we need to remember, that this isn’t our final destination. The believers in Jesus, must remember that Heaven is our FINAL goal and all we see now is destined for change. The enemy knows that their time is short so they must press at every opportunity and angle, lie at every chance and deceive every trust. It’s just another way to say that the Lord is coming back and we must be prepared in EVERY way.
