The Ordinary life…Sweeeet!

10 May, 2010

Good morning y’all. Hope everyone had a great weekend.

First – Let me wish a Happy belated Mother’s Day to all mom’s. We all appreciate you and thank you for ALL of your very hard work (belated, b/c I worked all day Sunday lol. – I did rest though on Saturday, the ‘sabbath’ 😉 …just to kill some legalism darting around out there)…

Well, nothing much out of the ‘ordinary’, but what is ordinary? How about this, lol…

…let’s see…the dog found out this weekend that she likes to ‘herd’ chickens…so now we have three in the deep freeze awaiting their cleaning and ‘herbal/veggie bath’bad dog! 😉

…picture a Rottie (around 150 lbs…give some more probly) digging under the tractor coop (only 3/4 meter 2.5 feet tall), crawling in there through the ‘tiny’ hole, getting them to come out though the hole and then, running out to ‘chase down the escaping livestock’ scenario…yeah they can get bored too…especially at night when no one can see them, heh 🙂 – it’s kinda funny now but we have to really keep her busy.

I have video footage to edit, the day is young…berries need picking, garden needs tending, the solar powered water collector needs finishing….mmmmm. Coffee….nuff said there…

Second…. “Thank you Lord for this day. Thank you for letting me have another chance to follow you in everything I do. Help me to forgive those who’ve done, or will do, me wrong, and thank you for the food we need today. Thank you for allowing us to be able to help others today, in the same way you have blessed us. Thank you for your protection, your blood, Jesus, and for your Holy Spirit in Jesus’ name…” Don’t forget to pray for our leaders too, but you can figure out what to pray, heh…as long as it’s God’s will done on earth as it is in heaven?

Third…For ALL mom’s, a gift perhaps, and the for ‘the Bride’ awaiting her husband’s (Jesus’) return, I keep ‘getting something’ about yesterday being Mother’s day, and the body of Christ, His bride, and the rapture about to happen…the analogy is interesting anyway…and I think this scripture Proverbs 31:10 – 31…for some reason…it’s kinda interesting to replace the Church where it talks about the woman/wife or where it says ‘she’ or ‘her’…and of course the husband is Jesus…

10Who can find a virtuous woman? for her price is far above rubies.

11The heart of her husband doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12She will do him good and not evil all the days of her life.

13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14She is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16She considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17She girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18She perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19She layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20She stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21She is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22She maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23Her husband is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24She maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26She openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27She looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28Her children arise up, and call her blessed; her husband also, and he praiseth her.

29Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but a woman that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

I never looked at the scripture this way – always was looking at it from the ‘ordinary’…heh.! It almost places the church and what she is SUPPOSED to do in a whole different ‘light’. A transforming one? Now read it this way:

10Who can find a virtuous Church? for her price is far above rubies.

11The heart of Jesus doth safely trust in her, so that he shall have no need of spoil.

12 The Church will do The Lord Jesus good and not evil all the days of her life.

13She seeketh wool, and flax, and worketh willingly with her hands.

14 The Church is like the merchants’ ships; she bringeth her food from afar.

15 The Church riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat to her household, and a portion to her maidens.

16 The Church considereth a field, and buyeth it: with the fruit of her hands she planteth a vineyard.

17 The Church girdeth her loins with strength, and strengtheneth her arms.

18 The Church perceiveth that her merchandise is good: her candle goeth not out by night.

19 The Church layeth her hands to the spindle, and her hands hold the distaff.

20 The Church stretcheth out her hand to the poor; yea, she reacheth forth her hands to the needy.

21 The Church is not afraid of the snow for her household: for all her household are clothed with scarlet.

22 The Church maketh herself coverings of tapestry; her clothing is silk and purple.

23 Her husband, Jesus, is known in the gates, when he sitteth among the elders of the land.

24 The Church maketh fine linen, and selleth it; and delivereth girdles unto the merchant.

25 Strength and honour are her clothing; and she shall rejoice in time to come.

26 The Church openeth her mouth with wisdom; and in her tongue is the law of kindness.

27 The Church looketh well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness.

28 Her children arise up, and call her blessed; Jesus, also, and he praiseth her.

29 Many daughters have done virtuously, but thou excellest them all.

30 Favour is deceitful, and beauty is vain: but The Church that feareth the LORD, she shall be praised.

31Give her of the fruit of her hands; and let her own works praise her in the gates.

I am so looking forwards to being with Jesus…hope you are too. Now, to the ordinary… 🙂 Until later on…

Cheers!
