Revelations on Revelations

7 May, 2010

Morning y’all 🙂 !

While doing my daily study of the scriptures, I was looking up a reference for something else, and found something totally by ‘accident’ having to do with a possible clue to the rapture…as pre-trib…or at least it appears to me this way and its kinda funny that I hadn’t really noticed it before. Here goes – Rev. 10:1-7 – (I love bible rabbit trails 🙂

1 And I saw another mighty angel come down from heaven, clothed with a cloud: and a rainbow was upon his head, and his face was as it were the sun, and his feet as pillars of fire: 2 And he had in his hand a little book open: and he set his right foot upon the sea, and his left foot on the earth, 3 And cried with a loud voice, as when a lion roareth: and when he had cried, seven thunders uttered their voices. 4 And when the seven thunders had uttered their voices, I was about to write: and I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Seal up those things which the seven thunders uttered, and write them not (emphasis me). 5 And the angel which I saw stand upon the sea and upon the earth lifted up his hand to heaven, 6 And sware by him that liveth for ever and ever, who created heaven, and the things that therein are, and the earth, and the things that therein are, and the sea, and the things which are therein, that there should be time no longer: 7 But in the days of the voice of the seventh angel, when he shall begin to sound, the mystery of God should be finished, as he hath declared to his servants the prophets. (emphasis mine)

Yeah it seems (in verse 7) that the mystery of God (sealed up so that the devils, unbelievers, skeptics wouldn’t know? – John knew…) declared to His servants, the prophets, to deliver all of those trusting in Him, calling on the name of Jesus, from the hour of tribulations, testing and trial, i.e. – The Tribulation. B/C we see that right after this verse, the prophet had to go back to prophecy this vision in reality…it hadn’t happened yet…see verses 10,11 (even the chapters and verses match up with this year…and upcoming – interesting).

Then right there in the next chapter (11 – wow, could this end up literally being year 2011?) we see, attention back to THE TEMPLE (and Israel), the two witnesses (3-12), the 24 elders, representing the church, already there (16,17 – of course if this is true then they HAVE been there since chapter 4 – ‘show you the things that must be hereafter’ 4:1). I sincerley believe this is where the rapture takes place – if Revelations is chronologically accurate….

The rest of the world’s population will be faced with the REALLY hard decision, (they thought making Jesus LORD of their life was hard) to make the antichrist ‘lord of their life’ via the NWO, to suffer, be rounded up, incarcerated, or die (Chapter 13)– like some are now in Iran, Iraq, China, India, Russia, Africa and elsewhere… (please be praying for our family being persecuted!!!)

The mysteries of God are for the righteous (because Jesus, not themselves) to understand – see?

And the disciples came, and said unto Him, Why do you speak unto them I parables? He answered and said unto them, Because it is given unto YOU to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but unto them it is NOT given.” Matt 13:10-11

“. . . but unto them it is NOT given.”

Jesus spoke in parables the majority of the people could NOT understand! Even Jesus’ own disciples had to have these parables explained to them. But He often did that by telling them – – another Parable! Why would Jesus do that?

Because God’s plan involves calling MANY, but choosing only a FEW…

“(The) MANY (meaning – ALL) are called, but FEW are chosen.” Matt 22:14…

After Jesus’ death and resurrection, and particularly after Pentecost – when the disciples received God’s Breath of Holiness (mistranslated as “Holy Spirit”) – allowing them to understand Spiritual things – the Apostles and New Testament writers understood that the patriarchs of old, including the prophets themselves, often did not understand their own prophesies.

After being given a vision, Daniel was told:

“But thou, O Daniel, shut up the words, and seal the book, even to the time of the end. . .” Daniel 12:4

But all these prophecies are being revealed to those who now, in the time of the end, are learning to KNOW God and are willing to diligently search the Scriptures.

“Of which salvation the prophets have inquired and searched diligently, who prophesied of the grace that should come unto YOU; Searching what, or what manner of time the Spirit (Breath) of Christ which was in them did signify, when it testified beforehand the suffering of Christ, and the glory that should follow.

“ Unto whom it was revealed, that NOT unto themselves, but unto US they did minister (for OUR admonition upon whom the ends of the eons are come, 1 Cor 10:11) the things, which are now reported unto YOU by them that have preached the gospel unto you with the Holy Spirit (God’s breath of Holiness), sent down from heaven; which things the angels desire to look into. Wherefore gird up the loins of your mind, be sober and hope to the end for the grace that is to be brought unto YOU at the revelation of Jesus Christ.” 1 Peter 1:10-13

Conclusion:

This is why theologians, pastors, and Bible scholars, and Bible translators virtually never understand the Scriptures. This is why the Organized Church is “teaching for doctrines the Commandments of men.” That is why Jesus said, “They draw near me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me.”

One can understand the Scriptures ONLY when one learns to know the Lord up close and personal through daily, diligent, Bible study and prayer after one has been through terrible trouble in their life and recognizes their absolute need for God to run their life. It is then that God opens the mind and heart so one can understand Spiritual truth

One can understand Spiritual truth when one has received God’s Breath of Holiness (translated “Holy Spirit). Until that time, one reads the Bible literally – with sense knowledge – the use of the five senses: sight, touch, hearing, taste and smell. They are “soulish” (use the five senses) or “natural.”

“The natural man (the soulish man – one who only uses the five senses) receives NOT the things of the Spirit of God, for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because Spiritual things are Spiritually discerned.” 1 Cor 2:1 – http://www.goodnewsaboutgod.com/studies/spiritual/home_study/parables.htm

The great thing about this, is many are called. Why are few chosen? Perhaps that this is freewill based – once again – as in ‘draw near to me and I will draw near unto you…’

Perhaps, in just a few short months, some people – the ones who didn’t choose life (salvation: the spiritual, eternal ways of Jesus) will ultimately be faced with this decision. And it won’t be pretty, if my dreams have been ANY indication…

But heaven on the other hand….YEEEEAH I’m ready!!! lol – (whoevr’s left here can have all this stuff in my house 🙂 but make sure to read all these bibles and tracks we left for you too!) All seriousness aside, er, I mean, all kidding aside, I pray y’all have a blessed day, week, and life knowing the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords, Jesus!

Cheers!
